How Does it Work?
If you’d like to use ZipMoney to buy an item of furniture from Buywood, tell us in-store and we’ll give you an application form to fill out. You’ll have a decision within minutes as to whether your application is successful. From there, you’ll use your balance within ZipMoney to pay for your furniture. So you can take your furniture home immediately and pay ZipMoney back over time.
With ZipMoney, you can schedule payments on a weekly, fortnighly or monthly basis. Or you can pay it all of in one lump sum whenever suits you best.
What Exactly is ZipMoney?
Similar to AfterPay, ZipMoney offers a simple way of making immediate purchases that you pay off over time. However, ZipMoney specialises in purchases of large sums of money. ZipMoney has partnered with over 3,000 businesses in Australia and now has over 300,000 customers.
Are There Additional Fees?
While there are no annual fees attached to a ZipMoney account, there may be a small establishment fee depending on the size of your approved credit limit. A late fee of $15 will apply if you do not make your monthly repayment on time, as well as a monthly service fee of $6 if there is an outstanding balance on your account. Aside from the 6 months interest free at the beginning of the promotional period, ZipMoney’s standard annual interest rate is 19.9%.
